Eastern Maine Medical Center nurses, collectively, bring years of caring, skill, and experience to each of our patients and their families. Our nurses' expertise and innovative ideas shape the care provided on a daily basis. We are proud of this tradition of nursing excellence.

Nursing is present throughout our organization, with nurses serving in multiple leadership positions including senior leaders Deb Sanford, RN, MSN, MBA, Baldrige Executive Fellow, vice president of nursing and patient care services, and Helen McKinnon, MS, RN, vice president, support services.

We’re proud our nurses are serving as examples of nursing engagement, not only here within our halls, but at hospitals across the United States. They are trying new ideas, breaking new ground, sharing their best ideas with others, and raising the standard for nursing care as they go.
